Full Day Kindergarten
The Full- Day Early Learning Kindergarten programme is a child centred, developmentally appropriate, and integrated programme of learning for four and five year old children. The sole purpose of the programme is to establish a strong foundation for learning in the early years. This programme is conducted in a safe and caring play-based environemt that promotes emotional, physical, social, and cognitive development of all children.
The Full Day Early Learning Kindergarten programme provides children with a range of opportunities to learn, practise, and demonstrate their knowledge and skills in all areas of learning.
Play is a means whereby we can capitalize on children's natural curiosity and enthusiam. Play is a vehicle for children's learning and through play, children can draw upon their own imagination and creativity. Play provides opportunities to learn in a context where they are most comfortable and receptive.
The FDK team encourages childern to think creatively, to explore, investigate, problem solve, and to share their learning with their peers.
